August is Black Business Owner Month, a time to honor and celebrate the achievements of Black entrepreneurs across various industries. As a community, we recognize the resilience, innovation, and impact that Black-owned businesses bring to the economy and culture.


This month is a reminder to support, uplift, and invest in not only these businesses listed in this blog, but ALL BLACK BUSINESSES!!!

1. Fashion: Hanifa Anifa Mvuemba, founder of Hanifa, has redefined the fashion industry with her stunning designs that celebrate the beauty of the Black woman’s silhouette. Hanifa made headlines with a groundbreaking 3D digital fashion show, a first in the industry, proving that innovation and creativity know no bounds. Securing funding can be one of the biggest challenges for entrepreneurs, especially for Black-owned businesses. Fortunately, there are several grants and resources available to support their growth:

**1. Comcast RISE Investment Fund: This grant provides marketing consultations, media placements, commercial creative production services, or technology services from Effectv and Comcast Business.
